March 18 - Irvine, CA

Despite a challenging experience overcoming a "swimmy" sound of this extremely "live" hall and with the absence of food backstage, the concert goes well. We have an excellent crowd, including many L.A. friends and family who have made the trip down to Orange County. It's a big thrill is to see Walter Becker of Steely Dan and superstar producer Larry Klein (who happens to be Luciana's husband) at the concert! I'm a big Steely Dan fan and saw them play in summer of 2006 at the Irvine Meadows Amphitheater. How strange to think that less than a year after that, and just a few miles away, I'd be meeting Becker backstage at one of my concerts! Weird, wild stuff.
